Lots of riding of "just broke" horses, whether it's loping circles or miles
and miles of trail riding WITHOUT the benefit of "schooling" either before or
as part of an overall training program equals my definition of "wet saddle
pads/blankets".
That's not to say that that particular "method" won't work, it often does.
But, in order to assist the horse, IMO "schooling" is of measureable
benefit. Once properly "schooled", that horse can be rode "on the buckle"
and allowed to be "just a horse" (though at that point, he is much more).
