We should be grateful for whatever positive national exposure we get even if
it is not as thorough as we would like to see.

Marci,
You hit the nail on the head!! It is amazing the response my wife and I get
when people find out that not only do we have horses but we ride endurance
too!! In fact it is almost embarrassing when you are having dinner with a
group and all the people want to talk about is horses and endurance. We often
feel like we are dominating the conversation. People are fascinated with
horses. It has to be a baby boomer thing!! We are lucky enough to be living
out the dream of many people. I personally think this is going to be a much
more recognized sport in the future. You are going to see more and more
sponsors get involved and open up the press on endurance riding. Some people
won't like the exposure but others will. To me it is a very exciting time
for this sport and any exposure we can is a plus. And like golf, it is an
individual (horse and rider) sport but the Pan Am and World team events make
it even more exciting.
