Scrambling in the trailer
I don't know under what conditions your horse is scrambling. I have had
several horses that scrambled in the trailer and have had great success in
training them to ride quietly by:
1. Driving slowly around curves.
2. Signaling them by lightly tapping the brakes (or engaging the trailer
brakes) before each change in the road.
After a while they learn to brace themselves and you can reduce the braking
and speed up. I have found that this also increases their confidence in
trailering and they become more enthusiastic about loading.
