What do you suggest for maintenance, Tammy? Just curious, I know it'll
probably be different since you live in an entirely different climate than
I do.
I put out loose salt for mine. I have two types - the plain white stuff,
and the kind with minerals in it. I put a couple of cups each in each
horses feed bins every few days. They really go thru it sometimes. I've
got those mineral blocks that are years old and they only seem to wear down
by the weather, so I know they aren't sufficient when I am buying those 20
pound sacks of salt every 6-12 months.
