Re: Norco Riverdance Ride
This does not take into account horses who may be on their first ride or
vets who are scared of horses. I have seen these vets who approach my
otherwise calm horse and scare him to death. By the time they get done
scaring MY horse because they are scared and apprehensive (usually occurs
when it's time to start picking up feet), my horse would be in your
category of ill mannered horses (not dangerous but certainly wants to be
DONE and get away from this guy!!). I would be more than a little ticked
to spend my time and money coming to a ride only to be turned away because
we get the vet who is scared of horses! Heck, there probably wouldn't be
any horses to run the ride!! Too many variables for this one but I do
agree dangerous horses are a different story. I just don't know how RMs
could enforce this and still manage to continue having a ride or at least
one that pays for itself. Maybe I'm all wet (heck, I AM a newbie) but
those are concerns I have.
