Loose horses on the road

I used to ride by a place that had a Llama and a
horse that would run up to the fence along the road
and the highest wire (on the 2 strand fence) was about knee
high. I knew it was a matter of time before we got acquainted
in a way I wasn't looking forward to.
So,
I took it upon myself to fix the fence along the road
because I knew they never would.... I did tell the guys son
one day "Hey, your fence was fallin' down over there..
I beefed it up, hope it was OK?" I knew they would't care.
I used the orange Australian string (nylon wire) and just
strung it horse chest- high, and tied it to each fence post.
(It was about 250 feet long)
That was just the easiest way.
