Come on folks, let's not let the little squabbles kill the conversation.

Another aspect of CTRs that is harder than an endurance race is that
you are not allowed to make forward progress unless you are mounted.
There's no getting off on uphills to tail or jogging alongside a horse
in to vet stops to give your mount a breather.
