I did when I was a kid ( 1974ish ). She was old breeding , now called 
foundation breeding. She was bred to work and was 15.2 but not really heavy . 
This mare had nice legs and good sized feet and was built uphill. She did CTR 
with my sister and some LD with me . She started to have leg trouble about 
age 12 and was pretty much retired from riding by 16 . She could go forever 
and in the 18 years I owned her she never spooked ( that I can remember ) .
