eggbar shoes

Somebody asked about eggbar shoes a few posts back (I haven't been keeping up 
with my ridecamps ;) and I've used them very successfully on my gelding who 
has heel soreness on one front foot.

He wore them with pads successfully for a year without losing one. Many 
people have no luck with eggbars because many horses can't keep them on. 
They're also more expensive than regular shoes.
