Beautifully. My riding program is based totally on classical dressage
principles. We have about 60% western equipment and, aside from being
"forced" to learn to direct rein, most western-only students we see
hardly notice they're doing dressage until I start giving instructions
by using the letters around the ring. Then they look at me funny for a
while.
If you go to the instructor and tell her what you want to do, she
*should* be more than pleased to take you on and give you something to
chew on. If not, you can probably find a more open-minded instructor.
