We reserve $15 if the horse does not pass the pre-ride vet check, and our 
refunds extend to the entry fee LESS the value of any meals (we offer an 
optional Friday night dinner).  Once I have given the caterer the meal count, 
I am obligated to pay for that number, whether the rider attends or not, 
therefore the full entry refund is not given (because it includes a $10-$13 
meal, depending on which of our rides we are dealing with).
