distances

tully et-albert@msn.com
Ride whatever distance you're happy with. Don't brag about it; don't condemn others for their choice. The competition isnt' between horses. Thank god there are so many people willing to give homes and jobs to all these horses. We should be happy for that. The real difference between the milers is their egos, the amount of sleep needed and the amount of beer consumed prior to a ride. 25 milers stay up most of the night before a ride and like to party, 50 milers stay up til around midnight, quitely fussing with equipment and 100 milers hope they have done all their homework and like to get to bed just after the ride breifing. So it just boils down to neighborhoods and zoning rules.
