Mules in endurance

I have a six year old mule that I would like to start endurance riding on.
I am aware that there are a few mules in competition that do fairly well.
I am interested in hearing from some of these mule riders and hearing about
their experiences with training their mules.  My mule is a very easy keeper
never seems to get tired when we ride.  I live along the continental divide
at an elevation of about 7200 ft.
