Hi Jackie,
I recently discovered that Ariat makes a great boot for endurance riding
called Freestyle II.
For years I resisted getting Ariats. They didn't look comfortable for
jogging beside my horse on the trail, so I rode in running shoes. When I
started having my very own "lameness" problems I decided to give Ariats a
try.
The Freestyle provides wonderful support (no more lameness), has a
non-slip sole (no more slipping and sliding downhill on foot), and are made
out of a synthetic material that can be hosed off to clean them up at the
end of a ride. Dover's catalogue had them on sale recently for about $65,
and I just bought a second pair because I like them so well.
Has anybody else tried these?
