RC:Feed-through iodine?? for a hoof problem??

While I'll beleive that some horses are more susceptible
to picking up organisms from the wet ground (fungi & bacteria)
that will damage the horn, I'd be very carfull about
icreasing the iodine levels in a horses feed unless it was
under strict Veterinary control and the blood level monitored.
