Along those lines, shouldn't the National Championship be a multi-day
ride?
To encourage people not to go flat-out for that one day 50/100 miles?
If they knew they had to get up and do it again the following day,
would that would change the way people raced?
And wouldn't multi-day be a *true* test of endurance?
Just a thought (honest, I'm not trying to wind people up...) <g>.
