Older horses

Ahorse I owned that is now overseas did a 100 last oct. in Switzerland(not 
easy) at age 20, i rode him 100 miles the year before in the europeon 
championships. I think as long as they stay sound, you are fine, they just 
need more maintenance, slower riding speed and TLC.
