Re:sport medicine boots
Cat:
The Sports Medicine Boots are great for support as you said, however, they are
made of neoprene, and they trap heat. I work for a professional barrel racer
and clinician and she always tells her students to remove the combo boots when
the horse is not being used because of the heat that builds up underneath. This
is especially true during the summer months here in the southern states.
(Barrel racers use combo boots front & rear and Pro Choice is one of the brands
favored by them.)
You might try with a conditioning ride and see what happens before using them in
a race.
