I'm a single woman who occasionally does find time to date. I was
always amused when people at work (who knew I was interested in being in
a relationship) would ask me what I'd do if it got serious and the guy
asked me to get ride of my horse. My answer was a vehement "I'd get rid
of him."  After all, someone who'd want me to get rid of something that
is that much a part of me definately doesn't care about who I am.  It'd
be like me dating someone who liked to skydive.  I might go up in the
plane with him, or be on the ground to take pictures as he floated to
earth.  No way am I going to jump out of a plane, but that doesn't mean
I wouldn't support him doing it.  And skydiving doesn't even involve a
live animal with feelings you get attatched to.
