Re: RC: Stirrup Leathers

I've always tied a string to the old leather/fender as I pulled it out.
I then used the string left in the stirrup slot to pull the new leathers
thru. It can be hard to get the new ones thru on a stiff, tight saddle.

The biothane leathers w/ the camlock bothered by legs REALLY badly until
I got a full saddle merino wool sheep skin cover. They can also be hard
to get perfectly even, but they have infinite variability. It's a trade
off.
