just curious, but what is the right way to discipline your horse at a vet
check?  at a horse show, i saw a mare rear with her rider, the rider slid
off and whapped the mare with the reins and was ejected from the ring for
whapping her.  will you get pulled if you smack your horse for such an
offense?  is there a better way to deal with kicking when it happens in that
sort of setting?
