A few Newbie questions!

    A few newbie questions for ya....
              1.  What is a good saddle to use??  I saw a wonderful gelpad 
(OOOOhhhh!) saddle or only $300 bucks.  I belive its an english saddle.  
Would thta be good?  Do they make special saddles for Endurance rides?  
               2. What is it in the arabs anatomy that makes it have such 
endurance.?
                3.  Is there any rides in the NY area??  
               4.  Does anyone know of anyone who endurance rides in NY?  
Preferably somewhere near or on Long Island??

   Jackie, Classy (who doesn't know what a canter is <G>) and the showdogs 
(who are from arabia as a matter of fact, and used to ride to hunts on the 
backs of Arabians thousands of years ago!)
