New to the List!

Hey Endurance riders!
         I am just getting into endurance riding so please be gentle with my 
questions!  I'm 16 and dont own a horse yet although I have been interested 
in them for quite sometime.  I will be getting one in about 7 months to a 
year.  A funny thing happened, I walked into my house and my dad looks at me, 
tells me tht he leased a Quarter horse for me and that I can get my own in a 
few more months.  Pretty Groovy eh?!!  I have been riding english since I was 
9 years old up here on Long Island.  I am sure I will be asking questions 
that have been discussed before so I am sorry for that inconvenience!  But I 
am here to learn adn I certainly hope I will!
