Re: RC: Fwd: RC: TTEAM and kickers
Yep many horses kick because they percieve a threat and yep some jerks
deserve to get kicked into next week. But a horse can kill with it's
kick. An neighbor of mine met such a fate. In the final analysis the
rider is responsible for his horse and if a horse injuries a person by
kicking the person, I would think that that rider would most likely be
held responsible. If a horse killed a person then I would think the
rider would most likely be held accountable - maybe even be held
crimically responsible.
These are 1000 pound very powerful animals and it is our responsibility
as owners and rides to see that they do not pose a danger. This is done
through proper training, proper handling and alert riding.
