1999 3RD ROCKY MOUNTAIN RIDE RESULTS

	Congratulations to all of the 1999 Rocky Mountain Ride Horse & Rider
Teams - you conquered "endurance at it's peaks"!  Except for a Thursday-Day
Four afternoon rain/hail storm, the RMR enjoyed great weather and, according
to the riders, challenging, yet very well-marked trails - thanks trail
markers!

	Our hats off to Beverly Gray & AA Bravo of Park City, Utah who won
the overall, five-day & 275 mile ride and received overall Best Condition!
Also, congratulations to the following teams for setting three new course
records:  Beverly & Bravo (Day One), Dorothy Sue Phillips & Rebel Night
Rider of Montana (Day Three), and Tina Fonda-Casper & Al Gohna of Colorado
(Day Four)!

	Due to his persistence, patience and perserverance, the
Sturgeon-Front Range Exceptional Equestrians Courage Award was given to John
Matthews of Kansas.  Due to his unselfish pit crew leadership, the Rothwell
Ultimate Sportsmanship Award was presented to Howard Himmelreich of Iowa.
Due to his van dropping it's drive shaft half-way up a nasty switchback, the
Ride Manager kept the Albert Steelman Memorial Dented Hubcap Award!
