Stopovers on the way to Nationals

After losing my original ride down, and having to make sveral other changes 
in my route, I"ve finally got my trip down mapped out. However, I've had a 
hard time finding places to stop & rest or stay over for the horse. I'll be 
going from WA, through southern ID, hit Salt lake City, then on down through 
Gallup, and on to timberon. Any suggestions on fairgrounds, stopovers, etc?
