Re: RC: Drugs
I am no scientist and the following should not be taken as scientific or
medical advice: I find it a teensy bit hard to believe that taking 2
ibuprofen every few hours could cause uncontrollable bleeding - in the
otherwise healthy, normal human. (I also suspect that it wouldn't be
considered such a good drug for menstrual cramps if it caused excessive
bleeding!) I've taken ibuprofen as the pain killer of choice for years
- not constantly, mind you, but often enough that there must have been a
time when I got cut while the drug was in my system. I've never had
excessive bleeding. Since I'm a pretty quick "clotter" (if there is
such a thing), I'd definitely have noticed a difference. I'd think
there would be warnings on the label like "Do not take if you are
engaged in sports activities" or something like that, but I checked and
there isn't.
I know aspirin is used as a blood thinner, but have never heard that
about ibuprofen. Lif
