On my mare's second ride a nice Spring day turned chilly with a brisk wind.
When I came into the vet check I asked my husband where the rump rug was as
Kaci had started to shiver.  The look on his face said it all - it was back at
base camp.  Before I could say a word, he whipped off his sweat shirt and
draped it over her rump.  She was nice and warm and my husband shivered the
entire hold time.
