The woman who owns the barn where I board has an Arab/Saddlebred gelding.
"Sno" won Half-Arab National Champion as a jumper at the Arabian Naional in
October.  

 I think he would have made a good prospect mentally for endurance. Sno is a
huge horse for the Arab world (17+hh) so he might have been a little hard to
get on and off during endurance rides, but he has been ridden on trails.  His
attitude about everything is great.  Of course, he is a seasoned show horse at
15 years old.  From the video I saw of his class and the jump offs he was one
of the few under control and looking like he had a brain.  He has full
siblings that have done well.

Just a little info on an individual Arab/Saddlebred.
