Nope, this was on the Wet Side, which was why it was so devastating. Just
out of a little burg called Fall City, just east of Bellevue. I think it was
1975--and it was a real record-breaker. I hauled home in the night, and can
remember it was still over 100 in Walla Walla at 2 a.m. when I dropped off
another rider's horse that I had hauled up with me...
