Mustang

I have a chance to buy a mustang and just wondered if they make good 
endurance prospects.  This guy is around 5 and has been freeze branded on his 
neck.  He looks to have quite a bit of Appy in his bloodline.  He's 15.1 and 
pretty thin.  He is currently being used in a hack line (for last 2 months) 
and is well adjusted around people and other horses.  I've heard that 
mustangs are pretty hearty.  I weigh 185 and want to make sure this guy can 
handle me.  Any thoughts?
