Re: Riding Sneakers
.
>Has anyone used Mountain Horse Riding sneakers?
Joie,
I have the Mountain Horse sneaker (got them from Stateline
Tack) and I love them. I also have Ariats and like you I
find them comfortable for riding but not walking -- because
of the 2" heel. Of course, now I know that they make a
paddock boot with a lower heel!! I have the nubuck sneakers
and they get wet easily, I would get the regular leather if
I could do it over. They run a little big. When I got mine
I debated sending them back and getting a smaller pair but
then decided I would like the extra toe room on long rides
(no more sleeping toes!). I put in a sporting shoe insole
for more arch support. They're now the perfect barn shoe
for me, walking or riding. They're not a great fashion
statement with shorts though!
