I don't know whether this is new or not, but when I had Lakota fitted in
April for his new DeSoto, Marilyn told me he was a "6" and I know that's
also what Tina bought for Tony a year or more ago, so Marilyn apparently
has a numbering system.  I bet she keeps a record of it, so you can ask
what size a tree is by who the saddle was made for and when (which I
believe is on the brass plate she affixes to the cantle).

Anyway, we expect to have it soon and can't wait to try it out!!
