Angie,
You have restated the theory of relativity of horses. The speed a horse
is precieved going is relative to how fast the horse wants to get to
where he is going.
You did forget one which is applicable to my mare:
The first 15 miles of an endurance ride: galloping sideways with an
occasional buck at 150 mph.
