E-lyte cookies
In a moment of musing the other day, I was wondering if
I baked up a batch of e-lyte cookies, *and* the horse liked
them, *and* the horse deigned to eat them on the day, *and*
assuming he was drinking properly, could one use these instead
of mucking about with syringes and applesauce, etc. each time he
drank?
I figure carrying a bunch of cookies on the saddle is much
easier/tidier/less hassle than trying to deal with "conventional"
electrolyting? (aka: elytes down your arm, smeared around the
horse's face, soaking into your clothes, or (as is my personal
experience), falling out of the saddle bag altogether, so you
never get it anywhere near you or the horse)(but a much tidier
option).
Thoughts?
The one person I mentioned this too reckoned the horse would
probably choke on them, or refuse to eat them on the day (both
are likely, just to spite me).
