I'm interested too. Husband mentioned about how it'd be easier on a
multiday when you are moving each day (don't have to set up the panels).
Though I'm a little leary of the sharp edges on the top of it (the part
directly above the horses head). I have a horse that 'just cuz' likes to
stretch his neck and head by tossing it up - every so often in the barn
he'll do that and thunk himself on our barn sign, which is hung at least as
high if not higher than this contraction would be on the trailer.
I think I've seen at least two different manufacturers of them. Do they
come with any kind of rubber padding around the metal edges to keep a
dorkhead horse from knocking himself out?
Is there any real benefit to the horse having him tied to this versus just
tied to the trailer? The reason why I hate to tie to the trailer is
because I sleep in the trailer (gooseneck) and it's irritating to hear the
haybag or bucket rattle all night long. Anybody have any suggestions on
easy ways to fix that?
Happy Trails,
Karen
& Rocky......who me?
