My horse Ambers Thorn (6325 miles at the end of 1998, now 6575 miles) has
been doing endurance rides every year since 1987. One year we only did 50
miles. Another year we did over 1200 miles. The rest of the years we have
done something in-between. I have ridden him for all but 50 of those
miles. Last year Phyllis Bartholomew rode him on the last day of the Fall
XP. It was great to ride with her and watch him move.
