black walnuts
wendy lumbert wendyl@jps.net
Is there anyone out there that absolutely knows FOR SURE the effects of
black walnut and english walnut trees on horses? NOT shavings, the
trees themselves. We have loads of these trees on our property and my
4 year old geldings have been eating the leaves and stripping bark off
for fun for 7 months now. They are fat as cows so are just doing it to
amuse themselves, they do it to anything they find. I am just wondering if
we need to cut down 40 trees to make it safe. Anyone?
