If so, then they've certainly changed (which is good).  Frankly, I heard a
lot of snobbery and high-and-mightiness at the time about how much more
concerned NATRC riders are about their horses, but the physical evidence to
back it up just wasn't there.  If they've changed for the better, great.  It
certainly left a bad taste in my mouth at the time, enough so that I left it
to go try endurance and haven't been back since.  If I can still look
forward to comments about endurance riders killing horses, don't know if I
care to go back for another try.
