We had a couple of the infective cases many years ago, brought in by a new
horse we purchased. I tried many different treatments, but finally solved
the problem with "Cut Heal", an interesting wound treatment composed of fish
oil, sulfuric acid, and balsam of fir. Must have been the sufuric acid that
did the job, but it DID heal the scratches.
