don't like to tie to the trailer for any prolonged period of time. A tie
line
running between trailers or from a trailer to a tree is o'kay, but not to the
side of the trailer. >>
One can find horror stories about EVERY possible way to tie a horse. I'm
among the ones who prefer to tie firmly and stoutly to the trailer, but there
are ways that are safer than others. Truman's story is another where someone
forgot to check something, and an accident happened--no worse than not
checking any other means of securing the horse, and even then, things CAN and
DO happen sometimes.
