The amble.... and going down hill : Truman?

Truman:
When you say "amble" do you mean a fast (walking) gait that's
almost, but not quite, a slow pace?
I ride with 2 morgans that were raised and ridden on steep hilly
terrain, and both these guys learned to do a "different" gait
going down hill... and they really FLY down hill. The riders
kinda sway side to side a bit in the saddle.
It's not a pacing, but it's not a flat walk either.
Will you describe the amble?
