Heart Monitor Questions
I received a heart monitor as a promotional item from a pharmaceutical
company. It is a Polar Target. It comes with a strap to hold on the
transmitter around the chest. Is there anyone out there that has transformed
one of these to a "horse" monitor? Did you get a strap to go around the girth
of the horse or did you attach it to the saddles girth? How did you attach it
to the girth? Does anyone have a chart of training heart rates or a formula
for calculating max heart rates and training rates? I know how to calculate
my rate...check pulse while lying on couch...check it again after thinking
about exercising...rest until it comes back down to baseline....repeat
tomorrow..
Who has the straps that go around the horse? Roger? Teddy?
Thanks,
Ed Roley
