being judged

Okay here is my worthy or unworthy take on CTRs and endurance riding. Being
an old getintheringofpoliticsandshowwalkinghorseshere. I have been seen it
all when it comes to being judged. I know that this is a different type of
riding. I don't see anything at all with judging a horse and rider on the
trails. As a matter of fact well it is rather neat. Maybe we can bring some
of the older world champs out of retirement and show them folks what REAL
trailing is!! But I love my endurance riding.... it has a special suicidal
kinda feel but no commitment LOL. Living on the edge. I Dream of doing the
TEVIS in 2005 that is my ultimate goal. I plan to give my hubby a callenge
that year as well for every mile I finish in every ride he donates money to
my fave charity. He better have that checkbook in hand!!!
But the point is some like it some don't it is a difference of OPINION!!!
some want to deal with the politics some don't have you ever been in any
sport where there wasn't????? I will say the sport that we do may never make
it to ESPN but I would love to see some jock on come off the trail after 25
miles hey I will make it easy on them. ( i will get off the soap box and let
someone else have it)-Bossmare
