Re: RC: Preventing scratches
I tried just keeping the area clean at the Outlaw ride two years ago.
It did not work! The area's became very dry and scratches started to
develop on the 4th day. I started to gob on Vaseline and the area started to
become supple and slowed the scratches down so I could finish the 5th day.
My mare has no hair in that area & that is one of the reasons that I do have
this on going problem. That is what drove me to invent a quick cure. I now
practice this on day 1 and if I do get some signs of scratches then I apply
my ointment and in two days it's gone!
By the way my mare has no white socks.
