Update on Padrick (the rescue horse)

Padrick has found a new home.  Well actually a wonderful new home, I
couldn't have wished for a more perfect new home for him.  Initially, a
couple of people were interested in him, each no doubt an excellent
potential home for him.  As things worked out a woman, who is familiar with
horses, who lives out in Prairie City, Oregon (long, long, way out in the
middle of God's country) purchased him.  She has unlimited riding right out
her back door (I'm jealous).  Padrick will have his own pasture, but will be
in sight of other horses.  A referral by way of AHRN (Arabian Horse Rescue
Network) introduced me to his new owner.  She was looking for a horse that
needed her as much as she needed them.  Padrick sure fit the bill as he was
in need of plenty of love and attention.  I feel good that Padrick will have
a safe and loving home now, which he deserves so much.  I have no doubt he
will get more love and attention than he knows what to do with.  I have been
in constant contact with his new owner who is anxiously awaiting his
arrival.  (We have had some logistical and timing problems...)  Going out on
a limb to purchase him was scary, but I'm glad that I did, now he has a
fresh new beginning.
