trailer ties

I have noticed a couple of ads for tailer ties in TB  of late.  These
are a boom-like arm that swing out from the trailer and give the horse
room to move around.  We have one set of fencing and have now expandd to
two horses.  With our camper, slant-load and equipment we are getting
heavy and I thought this might be a nice alternative to another set of
fencing.  

Does anyone use these?   Please share experieces/ plusses and minuses.
