I love ponies too.  What about all the statistics that rides like the Tevis 
have compiled about rider/horse weight (20'% or something?).  I'm sure that 
ponies (little dynamoes that they are) don't fall under this category, but 
hasn't it been proven that horses shouldn't be carrying more than 20% of 
their body weight to complete a 100 miler?  Maybe I've gotten my info all 
wrong, but I'd be interested in the experts opinions.  Also, we haven't heard 
about ponies doing 50's or 100's, let's hear those stories!
