I can't find my copy of it but Jan Hancock has written a good book covering 
horse trails in Arizona.  It's called Horse Trails of Arizona (I think!) and 
can be found in the section of TrailBlazer at the back dealing with books.  I 
know that AZ just recently opened their part of the Continental Divide Trail. 
 I would check with TB to see what books are available and how to get more 
reference materials.  Good luck and please give us a report when you complete 
this INCREDIBLE feat.
