The few creeks that were not dry are definately too muddy to take a horse into, so I was able to scoop the water and take it to my horse. My latest scoop is a "Vivid" colorsafe bleach bottle, cut off just the bottom, very short, stout and wide enough that my horse was also able to drink from it, probably holds a qt or more of water.
